Description

This remote standalone converter provides functionality as fiber-to-fiber 40Gbps converter:
It provides the conversion of multi-mode 1x40G on 850nm via QSFP+ SR4 with MPO/MTP connector jack to single-mode 4x10G on CWDM wavelengths 1270nm/1290nm/1310nm/1330nm via QSFP+ LR4 with LC/PC duplex connector jack.

This system with its 3R function provides a very stable data transmission and so can be also used as 3R fiber repeater for long distance transmission.

It supports easy installation, hot-plug functionality and auto-MDI/MDIX.

Further advantages are the transparent transmission with very low delay and the support of Jumbo frames and Loopback and link tests.

The converter front panel offers a status LED display.
