19-inch Media Converter Chassis, 16 slots, 220V AC Power Supply

Description

In this 19-inch chassis there are slots for up to 16 media converter insertion cards. Different data rates from 100Mbps up to 40Gbps will be supported. For insertion there are available different cards with either SFP, SFP+ or QSFP+ slots, equipped with 3R Regeneration. Please take into consideration that each insertion card from 8G (or more) needs to be cooled to hold the operation temperature. That's why an additional fan card is obligatory. So for applications of 8G (or more) you need two slots in the chassis: One for the insertion card and one for the additional fan card.

Management/Cascading

This 19-inch chassis is equipped with a 10/100Mbps management card, enabling to do network management over SNMP,Web, Console and Telent. In-Band-management for matching remote converters - which are also available from us - is also possible. By using the UPLINK-Port of the management card it is possible to connect and manage three additional converter chassis with built-in cascading cards.

Electrical Supply

This chassis will be delivered including a 85V ~ 265V AC power supply. The management card and all insertion cards will be supplied with electricity through the backplane.

The chassis is also available with a -40V ~ 57V DC power supply.
